Prayers for Norway
I can only imagine the horror the people of Norway are feeling right now. It never would have occurred to me that a place as seemingly safe and tranquil as Norway would ever experience tragedies of such magnitude. I hope that they will come to see this as a true aberration, and not as a symptom of times to come.

Prayers for Norway? ... Isn't that like saying "sorry your house is on fire ... here's some gasoline to put on it?" ... Not to be overly insensitive, but I think prayers and faith are what brought us to this terrible place. This whack-job's MO represents the counter pendulum swing to the rise of Islamic fascism ... another unfortunate symptom of the god virus. I agree with Sam Harris in that NOW, it will be even more difficult, thanks to the nut job, to discuss the very real threat that radical Islam poses to the world ...
