I started to read Andrew Sullivan's response to a column Ross Douthat wrote regarding the continuity of the foreign policy strategies of the Obama and Bush administrations. I stopped myself, however, because I thought it would be better first to read Douthat and then read Sullivan's critique. I am glad that I did. Here is

It's funny as hell, watching all the Bush trolls (Cheney, Rice, et. al) coming out of the wood work to take credit for bin Looney's appointment with allah ... Using that logic, should we, then, credit Clinton? How about the first Bush? Reagan? Nixon? ... Praise be to FDR, who's policies helped pave the way for bin Looney's killing!
